You consider nearly 40% depreciation of the value you paid in 3 years LOW :o

This was a very good price for what will be effectively a new car. There might be issues associated with being a garage queen but it’s under warranty until 2025 so any issues will come out by then. If a car is stored effectively then it doesn’t deteriorate really at all despite all the handwringing on forums about cars not being used. Agreed if the car is in a damp garage it’s a recipe for disaster but in a good environment it’s really not bad. In any case the problems we will come across in the future will all be module/electronic related not engine or rust (unless rubbish storing - see above). And that will happen to all of them. In my view the owner can have five years of weekend use, get the miles to say 15000 and still sell it in for hardly any depreciation. Most older Zeds are weekend toys nowadays as this one will be

I would expect quite a lot of trouble from that, its almost literally NEVER moved.
My 35 was very low miles and I have had a LOT of trouble with it, mileage is no guarantee of reliability on a car that age...

That’s why the owner has 12 months to sort out the problems under warranty…

So a dealer HAS got hold of it and I wasn't that far out! :o

Because he's a car dealer! Being a liar and/or an idiot is part of the training!

I don't get the "Munich teaching car" thing either. Why would they have a RHD car to 'teach' on in Germany? And why would they keep it for 6 years after the E89 stopped production?

I think we should buy that car as an investment....it's increased in value by £8,000 in a few weeks, "by this time next year we will be millionaires..Rodders" :)
