The v8 supra is now dobe. Just planing the compound charging for it now
And a supercharged 1uz in my z4 possibly if time allowes.
Looks like you've also been a busy man recently, Supra sounds awesome(don't do dope!)
Tucked away in the furthest corner of my storage unit is my next project if all going to plan. It's my beloved STI RA Impreza from 1995 and only 29k on the clock, pity I sold most of the running gear from it. Plans are to fit flat6 EZ30 or EZ36 engine and 6 speed box and possibly run it with supercharger kit. 6 cylinder will sound really nice with custom headers and system. These are fairly long term plans that may start next year at some point.
On another note I have to thank all members for your kind thoughts on my recovery. Thanks.
 no me neither!! But I do... do clumbsy fingers!! the supra is ....done!!!

Thought It's time I posted up about Brutus, now normally I just call my project Z4 V10. My eldest son's partner has to call all our cars by name and has christened mine Brutus!!!!! Having spent some time behind the wheel I'm starting to warm to him, or rather respect him. Yes respect is certainly the order of the day with every journey.
Nah this is pants, what members are wanting to know is what's my V10 Z4 like to drive? Well having driven very quick turbocharged cars this has been a revaluation. I can't express the sensation in words really but here goes. Speed and lots of it happens at insane pace and I still get caught out at the miles per hr you are pulling. On the dyno we were running 4th gear for all mapping and pulls from 1500rpm to 8350rpm saw us see 30mph @1500 & 155mph@8350 all in 4th gear.Wow. We mapped the car very conservatively and kept the timing very tame but still made 520 bhp and 400ish ft/lbs. When we get a chance to run it up on the dyno again, think we'll sharpen up the timing. Should be another 30/40 bhp in her.
What's the stand out feature has to be the aural pleasure it gives everyone. Well passengers anyway, pedestrians seem to be surprised/shocked! First encounter with little old lady in my own village had her jump and cover her ears. Driven normally it's actually very easy and deals with mundane journeys with ease. Fuel consumption round the doors is 15mpg, not so good .

Evening Marlon.
Fun may happen with a bit more time behind the wheel, respect is what it demands and a very close eye on the speedo. You can very nearly double the national speed limit in 3rd gear!!!!!

You'll have to come to zedfest next year. You'll need a fuel bowser though

We covered 2000mls this summer having a 10 day trip round the Alps. I used a Z350 and used £380 in fuel over the holiday, Brutus would have taken £690!
