Ordered a new G29 last weekend.

Black sapphire with ivory white leather. Sdrive 20i Msport.

Pics asap but on quoted 2 months delivery, counting the days. Any experience current delivery times anyone?

Congratulations. Ordered mine towards the end of March and it arrived at the dealership at the end of April. It was an existing build slot which hadn't been locked so I was able to spec the car how I wanted it.

What did your dealer say regarding IOM green.

Boyo, I went to 2 main dealers and asked the IOM Green question.

Both gave the same answer, they weren’t aware of anything and said that colour was only offered on M models at present, unless it was ordered as a custom job at £2k+ :)

Aha! That’ll be the colour I saw and posted in the spotted thread about. Looked really nice in green, almost as nice as Thundernight :thumbsup:

I got the same answer when I asked two dealers in the last week. One was quite adamant there’d be no further changes in the G29 between now and production end as far as they were aware.

Congrats on the new car and I hope your wait isn’t too long :thumbsup:

    Two months wait, you’ll still be driving the new car in summer time and I assume you will be keeping the “old” car until then?

    8 week lead time seems really good for a z4 as most other make / models are way beyond that at the moment. But Z4's are low volume so probably about right. They should be able to narrow that down once (assuming it hasn't already) been given a factory build slot allocation and then know when to expect in port. You can ask the dealer if a build slot has been allocated yet, this will give you some assurance as to how accurate that estimate may be. Either way, good luck, and congrats.

    Yep Ron, if all goes to plan. Dealer sounds confident about delivery date and my last one, 4 years ago, turned up on time. Fills an existing build slot.

    Black with a white interior may sound a bit bling but looks great in reality, at least in the configurator and in a used model on the dealers forecourt. There isn’t a lot of choice of colours.

    I also specced the technology pack. HUD, Harmon Kardon, etc are a must for me. I may well change the radiator grille for a plain black one instead of the chrome surround that it comes with after delivery.
