It's been brilliant so far. I was close to hoping Fiji would beat us just so we won't get hammered next weekend!

Surely if you like Rugby you would already be watching it?
I watched the England game, can't deal with anymore excitement today.

As I pay for ITV -1 I already know who won!

Absolutely one of the best games I have seen. It’s going to take a monumental effort by England next week, but never say never.

Really?
Why are the English so downbeat with our National sporting sides? England played EXTREMELY well today. There were zero handling errors (unforced) and Fiji are a VERY good side. They play union like they play 7s and they are the best in the world at that, by a long chalk.

As others have said, one of the best games I have ever seen. If I was in that England team I would certainly develop an injury this week. It could be a cricket score. :tumbleweed:

We did play well but you saw the mentality change in an instant when Fiji came back. Instantly the team looked downbeat, silly little off ball bits as well. I would love us to beat South Africa next weekend don't get me wrong, but they are playing well above our level currently

Tom Curry was the only England player whose discipline faltered IMO. He was sent off against the Argies aswell.

I would fancy England's chances against the Springboks than the Frenchies TBH. The England team I saw today were getting towards the team they were a few years ago. Their confidence is returning in spades. If Lawes, Itoje, Smith, and co play like they did today, I could see a final.

It would be VERY interesting if the final was England Argentina, no?

Admittedly more likely to be the all blacks against springboks. :)
