Rear light clusters
I replaced my rear light clusters a couple of years ago and kept hold of my old ones just in case as they where working but the lense cover was coming away.
LEDs we’re all ok
So I was thinking of stripping them down, cleaning them up but once started and a bit of research seems they cannot easily be repaired
Anyone tried to reseal the lense cover ?

Replaced mine last year for the updated ones and tried to separate one of the old units using the same method as splitting the Z3 front lights. Total disaster and destroyed it.

Why do you think they come unstuck, does it move?
I tried stripping one, the lens shattered.

Don't waste your time try AUTODOC for replacements. They frequently have sales and do a quality affordable replacement clusters by Magnetti Marelli.
I have two fitted for over 2 years now and still as brigh as new.
i paid £75 a side but prices today are around £200 a side - worlds gone mad.
Or you might try to find someone who can refurbish them for you/breakers yard etc

Problem seems to be no one stocks them. They must have made a reasonable amount beyond those required for production and due crap design have been used up as replacements.

Haven’t got round to listing them but I will be selling my rear lights. Refurbished resealed all good as new. Slight smoke tint to lenses I think.

I have new ones these are my old ones
When you press the lense you can see the gap so wondering what else anyone has used to reseal them
Keeping as spares seeing replacements are now so expensive
