I have a black facelift and would like to know what colour of wheels would suit the car. Silver wheels, or with the star in black, paint a bit rough!

I think black, but include the inner circle with the bolt holes. Leave just the outer rim silver.

Iβd go silver. Will look nice against the black paintwork.

Or how about something totally different. Here's the E89 version of this wheel on my black E89.
Could be my mind playing tricks on me but I think having the outer rim a different colour makes the wheel look one size larger than it is.

No offence but......
No, No, No and No.
From a distance they look they have those cheap 'alloygator' things on them. I know they haven't but it does look like it.
In the order of preference wheels should be...
Silver
Silver
Silver
or at a push....silver.

None taken and I know I am going against the norm here since this combo came at the bottom of my poll thread regarding wheel colour but come on silver is just boring
And on a black sports or luxury car black wheels look great, gives the car way more aggressive appearance, in my case, in reality I have had many compliments and they look much better in reality than in the photos. I used to be in the camp against black wheels but you know what they say, once you go blackβ¦β¦β¦.

I am a bit on the fence here, I do think *some* split rim wheels look good with dark centres. I had some Volks Racing GTVs on my old 350z and the centres were black and I liked them. The big gold Brembos looked good through them, and they were deep dish with diamond cut rims.
That said...I really dont like the centres coloured on the 108s, it just looks wrong and doesn't work with the car. I think hyper silver would look fantastic.

Thank you for all your replies. I would have liked to try the black star but in the end ,I stuck to silver. This is the first one painted and assembled. And yes, another pair of brown shoes. Only another three to do!
