seat up/down motor

Post by redgum » Fri Apr 26, 2024 5:21 pm

Hi all,
having just taken my passenger seat out by mistake looking for the yaw sensor I notice the up and down does not work, tilt and back/fwd fine, is there a common fault ie motor or is it just the usual electrical checks ?

There isn't really a common fault but it's likely a wiring problem. It also be the switch or the motor.

Check the wires to the motors are firmly connected first. If no problems there then you will need to check the connections with a multimeter which will involve taking the side plastic off the seat and getting the switch unit out.
