Nitpick

Post by Gauss » Sat Oct 20, 2007 5:24 am

Does it bother anybody else that if you catch a Z4 M in the right light from the front you can clearly see the rectangular area for the air filter in the lower part of the bumper,

like here

I wish there was a way to just make it look more blacked out and uniform. The Z4 has many curved and angled lines and it's just odd to suddenly see this perfect rectangle shape out of nowhere formed by those panels next to it.

Thoughts? Maybe cutting it.

People get annoyed by something as little as a rattle though

I believe the corners are solid to direct the airflow for more efficient cooling.

Gids, I used blackout trim tape over the chrome.
The alternative is to paint them.
