Damaged Bumper by Dealer

Post by Darkman » Wed Jun 16, 2010 12:53 pm

Misshap at Halliwell Jones Southport Yesterday...... Dropped my car off for its first MOT and collected it last night, so once home decided to give it a once over and found 2 marks in the lower part of the bumper. So not very happy as the are about 10 mm indents in the bottom lip, got straight on the phone and complained. Off to see them after work today to see what they are going to do about it. I will keep you posted on progress anything less than a full repair and I won't be very happy. :(

I always make the dealer look round the car when I drop off, and I inspect before I drive away to ensure blame can be left with them.

Wheels especially important, they often scrape kerbs driving in and out.

Had to stand my ground though, at first they wanted to just do a spot repair using a dent/scrape repair man]

Well finally got the Z4 back saturday morning. The finish is excellent and the damage repaired, though it did take nearly 2 weeks to get done
