Is AG Paint Renovator aggressive?

Post by ksher » Sun Jul 17, 2011 12:25 pm

After using SRP, the mark left by bird poo is 98% invisible now. Should I try to use paint renovator to get rid of the remaining 2%?

There are different opinions about it on detailing world. Some said it was good, but some said it was too aggressive. I think it depends on makes and models.

I have no professional equipment, i.e. machine polisher. What can I try?

I reckon using it by hand, you won't do any damage. Use a good clean microfibre cloth and start off quite gentle, with a very small amount. You might then need to go back and refine with SRP afterwards.

If using AGs paint renovator I would def recommend using a terry applicator pad instead of a cloth, it's much easier to use as the pad has a even flat surface, but as with the previous post use gentle and even pressure. :driving:
