Remember to take cleaning materials with you.

Yeah two weeks in a coupe without a wash and you'll be ripe  Should've bought a convertible for that fresh off the clothes line smell :poke: :)

Hi Taz

Be excited fella, there is something very special about road trips.

Remembering everything? As long as you have your passport and credit card, everything else you can get by without.

Spare key? Not sure where you can keep it though. I usually give my spare to someone else in the group, but IIRC you're doing this trip alone?

Split your money, perhaps hide some in the car/boot as that way you don't lose it all if it does go amiss. People do pull things out of pockets and a fold of readies fall out.

I've just come back from a weeks trip in France (motorbike) and saw 2 UK Z4s on my travels, you may well bump into some over there.

Remind me of your route please, there may be ideas en route.

Whatever you do, it'll be great and you'll see some great places and drive some epic roads......have fun.

Bought 4 phrase books, German, French, Italian and Spanish. Also bought a Su Doka book

Take some MF cloths and some Glass cleaner. Nothing worse than a dirty windscreen.....

And also remember phone charger. If someone going with you, give them the spare key to keep safely......

Taz, most important two items you need: a 2 pence piece and a dice

Each morning before you drive off flip the coin, heads left, tails right, roll the dice and see which number turning you take on the designated side and see where it takes you  :driving:

Used to do this years ago and found some amazing out of the way places we would never have seen any other way, wish i'd had the presence of mind to write some of them down. :(

Ok flip a euro :D Don't flip the bird :o or for the modern guy i'm sure there's an app for the iphone, smart phone or f-phone, certainly seems to be plenty on the interweb to help people toss
