Mid Range Tyre 19" - Recommendations?

Post by welsh_Z » Tue Feb 18, 2014 8:53 pm

Hi, although I have sold the Z4 Coupe and bought a older BMW E46 330 diesel Coupe I thought id ask your opinions as this forum is the best I've been on!!
I'm buying a set of 19" CSL reps and looking for mid range tyre recommendations.
Tyres will be 225-35-19 and 255-30-90.

Been thinking of Falkens but the new ones seem to be FK453? - The reviews seem mixed.

Nankang NS2 - Budget tyre but reviews seem decent considering the price

Any other recommendations? Thanks guys

Not sure if you can get them in 19,s or the cost but Ive recently been running a set of used alloys that came with Maxxis Victra Z4s Tyres . they,re on 6mm ish & really impressed with all aspects of them so far , http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Maxxi ... Victra.htm

Also have some Kenda Kaisers on the fronts on my van wheels . 18inch & although they get slated in some reviews i really an,t understand why ?. Unless driving on the roads like a complete moron they do everything you could ask of a budget road tyre .
i have ran them all winter in all conditions & never felt remotely twitchy or unsafe ,

Have you priced up Vredestein,s to compare ? If buying new they would be my middle of the road choice for cost V performance
