Chrono24.com some on there, even with 100% import duty from stateside (which it is not) still 30% cheaper than that listing you have

Very nice collection and thanks for posting the link. I much prefer stands to boxes. Is that a Huawei smart watch in the first pic?TitanTim wrote: ↑Sat Dec 16, 2017 11:01 am Picked up these cheapo watch stands and quite pleased with them and do the job nicely, although I did break one as some once the band is slotted into the stand it can be hard to dismantle again The band has some springyness so easy to mount the watch without undoing the strap.

Many thanks, it is a Huawei, least worn watch of my collection, I bought it to see what the fuss was with smart watches and concluded they are completely useless and leave me cold. I'm sticking to mechanicals in futureVornwend wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2017 5:43 pmVery nice collection and thanks for posting the link. I much prefer stands to boxes. Not many come recommended, they generally fade and die. Watchmakers don"t even use them unless they want to check its time keeping over a week or 2
Yes I know what you mean about smart watches. Their interest for me is mostly around fitness tracking. I suppose it would be nice to have a watch that did everything and looked as good as a mechanical but that would mean we wouldn't need a collection At the end of the day its kind of fun to have different watches to wear.TitanTim wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2017 6:08 pmMany thanks, it is a Huawei, least worn watch of my collection, I bought it to see what the fuss was with smart watches and concluded they are completely useless and leave me cold. I have always tried to rotate my watches and to date I am satisfied that me decision is workingTitanTim wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2017 10:06 pm There always seems to be mixed views on the use of watch winders, I've used a cheap one for the past 4 years and its still going strong although I've recently stopped using it as the collection of watches is increasing. The general thought is anything mechanical is designed to run so better if a watch can be run at regular intervals, whether using a winder or otherwise. I just find it impracticable having a load of winders running so tend to wear a different watch each day and rotate them.

It gets trickier as the collection increasesHilly30si wrote: ↑Tue Dec 26, 2017 9:07 amI have always tried to rotate my watches and to date I am satisfied that me decision is workingTitanTim wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2017 10:06 pm There always seems to be mixed views on the use of watch winders, I've used a cheap one for the past 4 years and its still going strong although I've recently stopped using it as the collection of watches is increasing.
