Just posted this forsale in the non Z4 related section.

Anyone able to give me any information on the brand/quality of these watch’s?

I know they are £1660 on the website now. No idea if its good thought.
Chrono24.com some on there, even with 100% import duty from stateside (which it is not) still 30% cheaper than that listing you have

Very nice collection and thanks for posting the link. I much prefer stands to boxes. Is that a Huawei smart watch in the first pic?

Many thanks, it is a Huawei, least worn watch of my collection, I bought it to see what the fuss was with smart watches and concluded they are completely useless and leave me cold. I'm sticking to mechanicals in future :)

If I get myself another Auto Winding watch ( The “potential” Yachtmaster) I will have to invest in an auto winding machine - has anybody any advise on the topic please?

Why can’t you let it unwind if it’s not being used? Will it damage the mechanism?

Not many come recommended, they generally fade and die. Watchmakers don"t even use them unless they want to check its time keeping over a week or 2

There always seems to be mixed views on the use of watch winders, I've used a cheap one for the past 4 years and its still going strong although I've recently stopped using it as the collection of watches is increasing. The general thought is anything mechanical is designed to run so better if a watch can be run at regular intervals, whether using a winder or otherwise. I just find it impracticable having a load of winders running so tend to wear a different watch each day and rotate them.

Yes I know what you mean about smart watches. Their interest for me is mostly around fitness tracking. I suppose it would be nice to have a watch that did everything and looked as good as a mechanical but that would mean we wouldn't need a collection:wink: At the end of the day its kind of fun to have different watches to wear.

That’s the 2 categories I love sorted for a few years! (Diver and Pilot).

I’ve also got 2 TW Steels which I still love but not quite as nice and not automatic.

Lovely! I got the vintage version really great watch and on a par build wise with omega/Tudor/breitling you get that in the January sales?

Bagged myself a half price c8 pilot

Not sure if I'm gonna keep it though fell for it on the website but now it's in hand I'm not as sure.

Think maybe should have gone for the steinhart pilot instead, but my trident pro feels a much more expensive watch than my ocean one I thought that would carry through to the pilot but I guess aviation watches are simpler than divers or maybe it's just that it's an older CW model?
