Will most likely have on anyway, in black preferably :-)
Not yet, unfortunately. Didn't get chance to chase up the powder coater on Friday, although they did promise that they would get back to me.

Hopefully Monday but definitely early next week.

Mmm, not 100% sure. I would think so but will try and find out.
No reason why not - the airbox is standard Z4. Will tell you when I get mine ;)

i was thinking maybe the bumper will not allow it?

Am I too late to add my name to the list?

One in blue please if possible - if not red is fine :-)

The bumper is the same as the standard prefacelift at the top, I would be surprised if it doesn't fit behind. The air box and scoop are standard z4 parts, so the removal and replacement looks the same. I'll post here if there is an issue when I try to fit one.

I'll take one in black please Dan...

My car is currenlty looking like this so one now would be really handy :poke:

Not easy to see, but the top right hand corner there is a scoop which I guess will have to be removed. It's more like a bowl as it points up as well.

Does this scoop fit behind the grill?

what is its main purpose? any benefits?

how easy is it to fit?

Hi Dan,

Pencil me in for one in black please :)
price dependent as i hit a curb and snapped a third of my bumper off today so money is tight for a while due to repairs - it's a sad sight to see bits of your front end on the road.

*ATTENTION* guys - if you know of any 2004 pre-facelift bumpers going on here or from other members please let me know. Trying to find a good one on eBay is harder than i though, i'm waiting to hear back from a few breakers - hopefully they have one. Paint colour isn't an issue for me

Cheers,
James

Hi Dan, could you add me to the list for a scoop in blue please? If not, black would be fine.

Thanks

Shame it's not ally, but still count me in for 1 in black and the skid plates I'm already ordering from you.
Cheers
