Doh, I thought it was referring to something more technical behind the dash lol Thanks for the offer but I'll have a look and hopefully give it a go. If you wouldn't mind PM'ing me a contact number or email for if I get stuck that really would great?

 and offer still stands, but it is an easy job, just take your time and double check before cutting.

I would also look at joining to the LCM without cutting as I see no reason not to and would end up no different in the end, but without the risk.

Was either eBay or amazon from memory. I think they came from the states. Think RS or Farnell might stock them.

This is what I got from Sopers, total of £130 delivered
I got exactly the same price from Lloyd Newcastle, I just asked them for my usual 10% discount.

I successfully fitted the cruise control today with more than a little help from Dietcokeman....cheers Bryan

Once we'd got our heads around the instructions earlier in this thread ( cheers srhutch) it was realatively straight forward. Access to run the wire to the ECU was easy via the passenger side footwell and there was already a hole into the ECU compartment. We then cut the pin 4 X6021 wire and instead of using a connector we solder jointed the new cruise control wire to it.

For the light control module connection we first removed the vent/cup holder, then removed the leather trim and then unscrewed the LCM and removed it.

This gave us access to cut the cable tie holding the loom to the column frame allowing us to pull the 54 pin connector into the drivers footwell to work on. With good access we cut the pre installed plugs off that came with the CC loom wiring (not the one that pugs into the stalk obviously) and we stripped a section of the brown/black and violet/yellow wires without cutting them and soldered the new wires onto them and that's the job done. Well apart from cutting the trim panel for the stalk with the dremel.

Thanks again Srhutch for all the info and Dietcokeman for all your time today with this and fitting the M5 illuminated gear knob, amongst other bits, it's much appreciated
