Congratulations to Sandman, winner of the May 2008 photo competition.
This month sees a return of the black and white dominance to the photo competition. This is a great photo mixed with a little Photoshop genius and has certainly been popular with the members.
It's great to see another excellent composition from thecorf1 and a new entry from justincase too! As the months go by the standard is increasing. We are working behind the scenes to develop a forum calendar featuring some of the best entries from the competitions. So, with that in mind, please post your pictures in the June photo competition and they might just get used!
As always thanks to all those who entered, and congratulations to the top 3 winners!

BMW Z Roadster homecoming is the largest organized collection of BMW's in the world. It is held every Labor Day weekend and consists of hundreds upon hundreds of BMW Z Roadster owners and their cars, meeting in Greer, South Carolina. The event runs from Thursday to Saturday evening.

The event brings together all type of BMW Z owner from Sunday drivers to hard core enthusiasts, discussing performance mods, detailing and cleaning techniques, tires (or tyres if you're from the UK!), wheels, forums (hint..hint!!) and generally having a good time. I have heard rumors that some people consume beer too.

How do I register to participate?
Registration normally opens up on the official Homecoming website the second weekend in June. We should get more info on the exact day as we approach registration time. Be quick in registering and have all pertinent info available (VIN number, events you wish to participate in, etc.). The available slots filled up really quick last year, depending on which source you refer to, registration filled up within 1-4 hours of opening. Last year was a $40 US fee per person, and driving events were extra.
What is the webite for HC'08?

Bookmark it for later use and to keep up on the latest info
Where can I stay?
The Embassy Suites are the focal point for all evening activities except for Saturday nights dinner. Embassy Suites has been booked solid for several months and people are on a waiting list for cancellations. If any of our members have to cancel for any reason, please pass on your reservation to another forum member. There are a lot of other hotels in the area, and the HC website does have links to them.
For further info see this thread
One of the highlights of the event is the collective photograph of all the cars...
