Petach - an "OLD NEWBIE" says hello!
This is going to be my "Last" "Last Hurrah"
Going for my 4th Zed and look forward to getting another Zed but with the "Petach Method" already completed!
I briefly held the hand of my 3rd Zed back in March last year. It was a short reign due to illness, and I was not getting out as much as I wanted.
I had a 10 week holiday in Australia, but within the 1st week I picked up what I thought was a bug or parasite. The result of this was that I could (and I cannot put this any other way) make my bum wee through the eye of a needle at 50 yards! and I still can!
I have lost 2 stone in weight
I have been to the Hospital for Tropical Illnesses and tests show nothing, no bacteria and no parasites. They now think it is Coeliac Disease. I was devastated because I love it mashed with butter and milk and pepper. Oh, hang on....that's Celeriac. How confusing?
Anyway, Parkinson's is also still there and getting slightly more entrenched. Apart from tremor in my left hand and slightly stiffened gait, my jaw also moves a lot. But there again, my wifes' jaw moves a lot. Although it doesn't irritate her, it does me!
Suffice to say, I have made myself look so miserable and downbeat that she actually said "Why don't you get another Zed4. That'll cheer you up" To be honest, she didn't really say that. I dreamt it......but it still counts in my view.
So....I am in the market for a 2.5L or 3.0L. I would like one for nothing, but you would want something; so I am sure that a reasonable meeting ground could be worked out price wise. I am now heading over to the Zed's for sale part of this esteemed forum.
See you there
Cheers
Pete (Petach Methodist)

Good to see you posting again Pete. Clearly your sense of humour is still in perfect working order too. Good luck finding a new Zed. I'm sure it was your wife's idea. So you best get it sorted quickly.

Really uplifting to read such a positive thread OP, when things clearly aren't going very well. Just makes me (and probably many others) realise how fortunate we are.
Get Z No.4 ASAP and enjoy it every minute - you know it makes sense!
Wishing you all the best with the medical situation, and even better wishes for finding a Z4 to brighten your day every time you drive it - certainly works for me.

Hello and welcome (back)! I'd always go for the 3.0 as I'm sure you'd get "bored" of the 2.5 sooner or later. I'm totally with you in that even though you dreamt it, it still counts
Good luck with your health and your Zed search! Be sure to keep us posted; Roadster, Coupe, 2.5, 3.0, etc, etc.
