Good day
Quick hello to all from another newbie, literally signed up today as I'm thinking about a particular Z4 that I will be buying if I can sort some decent insurance for a reasonable price.
Mainly frequented pistonheads until now, I'm lucky enough to have a caterham R400 as well, and have owned MX5s, a Defender and a 987 boxster S previously, the boxster was awesome but had to sell due to Company car, but now looking into the Z4 which I'm currently in to. See you around the forum!

Good day
Hi and welcome OP.
Good luck with your search for a 2.5 - I know an SE may be cheaper, but I wouldn't rule out a Sport until you have tried one (or a 3 litre come to that)!
Good luck finding one you like - and don't forget the photos!

Good day
Thanks all, looking at pre facelift. I've got my rip roaring R400 for fun and so I've been looking for a 2.5 se that I can take out at weekends and summer evenings ( assuming we get some ) for leisurely drives.
Unfortunately the Defender and Boxster are long gone. I used to have the benefit of car allowance, but since they tightened all the co2 levels I had to sell both as neither complied for company car ( diesel )

Good day
Well finally got myself a very tastey 2.5se and am already enjoying the lovely smooth straight six engine coupled with the 5 speed gearbox and the small bottle top wheels which give a very comfortable and relaxed ride.
A few little rattles and other minor noises to investigate but she drives very nicely and is very addictive.
Very pleased with my new acquisition, anyone care to take a guess which one I've bought?

Hi and welcome,
Had my Zed since January as a more grown up daily driver - one of my other cars is a Caterham. The Zed has extended the top down motoring to all year on any dry day Hope you can get your insurance sorted and buy the Zed you've seen.

Morning all, lovely day again. Yes the Zed will certainly make for all year top down motoring unlike the 7 which is only a summer car. I bought Bryan's (dietcokeman's) 2.5se advertised on here it's in lovely condition as his Z4m which is tastey. What Caterham have you got Harry?
