What happened to the zillion and one E46's?!
If anyone hits you in that they've got no excuse.
I remember my 2 TT's 225 with the 1.8t engine in, I prefered it to the 3.2 V6. Audi sent me a 3.2 on demo back in the day and the V6 sounded better but the 1.8T just went so much better, more torque low down etc, especially when remapped. Probably wasn't much better on fuel though, I remember when I replaced it with a 3.4 Boxster. It got near as dam it the same MPG!

Oh totally agree the v6 tt was a bit of a let down too, very nose heavy. Not a fan of big lazy v6s

If buying a daily it's always worth looking at 'off the wall' colours as you can get a real bargain . I have the same engine in my Octavia VRS but just rated at the standard BHP (180) . To be honest for me it's getting close to the maximum for a FWD of that age.
