I thought the 8 series was a superb looking car looked long and slinky very stylish. Can I have one , no ,bugger off .

A friend of mine owned one from new. Lovely looking car, but he described it as playing Russian roulette with £5k every time he drove it. They were nice , my grandfather had one , 840 version he kept it in portugal , got to drive it a couple of times . So smooth so comfortble .

I wonder if this is an attempt to add some prestige back to the brand. You don't hear "BMW w*nker!" half as much as you used to.
