That is the brake light bulb, it shouldn't be lit unless you are braking. That's known as the "T" effect, normally when FL lights are fitted to a pre FL car, and it's not been coded correctly.

Ahhh ok cheers Mike, i had a set delivered today just not 100% about them and the light show was a def no no
