I've got some better vinyl coming for another attempt at the bumper so I'll see what I have left over and might give it a go. I should just send them to AGT Styling again he's got my radio now as well as my mirrors!

Dash trim dilemma
They both look the same, just one looks a bit dirtier. The pre facelift is a completely different finish. Very dull in comparison. As above look at dipping or even spraying.

Cheers buddy, Looks fine now it's in it's better than all those chicken scratches on the centre console.
The one that looks dirtier... that's just the shade it is, it couldn't be cleaner. It's had a two treatment fallout remover on it with a power hose. It's hard to pick up on camera. I also have a definite pre-facelift dash section here too and yes it's a lot duller which is why I never bothered with it, it didn't match the centre console. Seems I've just taken to collecting them

The one you've bought is from a Pre FL car .
Mines the same , just darker, thought it was dirty but cleaned with APC it looks no different.
My mates Z4 coupe is a facelift and theres a very obvious difference from the colour of our dash trims (both brushed ali) his is a lot lighter

That's what I thought. It's in for now but I'm thinking of wrapping it in something like gunmetal or brushed steel.jamie_z4 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 19, 2017 10:14 am The one you've bought is from a Pre FL car .
