Similar process to the front:

Remove the fixings along the lower edge
Remove the clips under the rear wheel arches
detach clamps from where it joins the rear quarter panels
Pull it backward from the car taking care to disconnect the FM aerial that runs across left to right
Z4 3.0i SE Roadster (///M front, Red ///M leather seats, Aero sills, AE's, clear lenses, 4 spot rears, custom 108's, paddle shift/MFSW, quad exhaust, cf rear diffuser, Alutec strut bar, retrofit Bluetooth and a whole host of other mods subtle.)

Do the rear wheels have to come.off on order to get to fixings?

Allow yourself a good 10 minutes to undo 5 self rapping bolts underneath, release the pins under each arch and unclip the corner fixings :)

Just remember the fm aerial and rear PFC harness as you pull the bumper away.
