New wheels

Post by Palmer666 » Thu Mar 26, 2015 11:38 pm

Hi all,

After much deliberation and ridiculous price for a refurb on my 108s I have decided to buy a cheap set of wheels for the meantime. I heard the zed is 120x5 hopefully this is right and I have seen some wheels that look like csl reps on eBay for 430 ish 18 inch and some 19 inch same shape for closer to the 500. Is this a good price and does any one have any experience of these sorts of wheels. Will the 19s actually fit ?

I believe my last thread about angel eyes was deleted, if this one is in the wrong spot please tell me just not sure where to ask.
Thanks

My car is 2003 3.0

Have a look at www.bmautosport.co.uk as you will be buying known good quality wheels specifically for BMW's and I don't think you will find them any more expensive.

There is another supplier who often gets mentioned on here but the name slips my memory at present.

I had never seen that site before but it's brilliant,it's nice to see the alloys on a zed, to get a rough idea of whether they look ok. Would you happen to know If the zed has wider rears?

Cheers

I am happy with my 18inch CSL reps from CMWheels think they cost around £450 mark

Think these will be happening the end of next month then :) what colour did you go with ? Was tempted by 19 s but they might be a bit of a hard ride ? I hate the tramlining already so no run flats this time.

Thanks for all the posts
