Who's next on the ///M ladder ?
Paulgs1000 ?
Swiftly ?
Cracker ?
NeilMick ?
GJC72 ?
Stark ?
ocrx8 ?
gannet ?
JaRED ?
Z4M-2006 ? ( 3 months MAX until his M return )
After Taz raided his money box yesterday its time the closet "M" chasers came out
Its nothing new to love the 2.0.2.5 or 3.0 but secretly crave the more brutish 3.2
Bing , DPG, Inkey , Adamski , myself & now Taz among many who have succumbed but who will be next

I have been close so many times to E46 M3 but now it would have to be the V8 which fortunately for me seem very unloved in motoring circles so possible bargain motor for the future ?

I suspect the V8 will be one to watch in the very near future. I'd definitely take a 4 door for a weekend toy.mr wilks wrote:E46 or E92 ?ben g wrote:Would love one but i crave the M3 more

Ha - I seem to remember someone being badgered about such a choice in the past and keeping it close to his chest . . . . . .
I'm definitely a closet ///M lover - though it's a tortuous journey - 2.0 to 3.0 to 3.2
It was the Wales hoon that did it for me - out with three other ///Ms (and Ian of course)
I think a test drive will be enough - I've got to have a clear reason for the increased costs and from what I can gather and Steph reckons, that'll do it!
Not in a rush . . . . . we shall see. . . . .
Now 'get thee behind me satan'

I took the route from 3.0 to E46 M3. It was while I had the M3 that I thought, this engine in a Z4.....it'll be crazy! I'm in!!mr wilks wrote:E46 or E92 ?ben g wrote:Would love one but i crave the M3 more

I have to confess I'm also closet //M lover and I'm sure one will find pride of place in the garage at some point.
Although having seen the number of //M 's at this morning's meet I think I might stick with the rarer 3.0si

Have to say GJC it is a stunning SI you have there. It was in and amongst some lovely cars this morning, but more than held it's own mateGJC72 wrote:I have to confess I'm also closet //M lover and I'm sure one will find pride of place in the garage at some point.
