Hi. I bought a loom (N52) at Zedfest. Grateful if you can send me the instructions.
Thanks, Chris

Hi srhutch
I note from the original post you also do fitting - do you have stalks yourself ie all the parts needed?
also Where abouts are you located?

Based in East Sussex. You would need to supply the stalk, the rest is just the loom and cutting of the lower cowl.

Almost done fitting it
Spent some time this afternoon taking out all kinds of trim to route the blue wire behind, fitted the cables to the LCM, and even fitted the stalk already.
There's just one tiny but crucial detail left: How do I get the pin on the blue wire into plug X6021? This one:
On the LCM side it was quite straight forward, albeit a bit fiddly. Take the large connector and slide out the two blue/brown pieces and then press the tiny latches to release individual pins. And then just slide in the new pins.
Any hints? I guess I need to take the plug apart a bit to be able to fit the new pin, but how do I do that without breaking any tiny plastic bits?

Spent 5 more minutes on it earlier today and it's all done and working now.
Thanks a lot for making the loom, much cleaner than cutting into wiring!
The X6021 connector just had a funny flip open mechanism:

Ha, that one's just to confuse you
It's from a different car (E39 I believe) but nicely illustrates the same flip open mechanism. Comes up if you google for X6021.
And cruise control is still working like a charm!

Ok, yes the is a smaller flip panel on the S54. I'll update the instructions to make that clearer.

Hey Srhutch,
How has production been coming along? I've got my stalk all ready and waiting for your loom to do the install...

I've sold the first batch and starting to make the second batch of 10. I'll be in touch soon with those who have expressed an interest.
Also have another version using Posi-Twist connecters which some might prefer. More details on that soon.
