Whilst driving to work on the A45 from Coventry to Birmingham this morning, suddenly there way mayhem as all cars in the LHS lane were moving across to the RHS lane. When I got closer there was a gen 1 Z4 broken down with what appeared to be a collapsed NSR suspension. I couldn't see a driver anywhere near the car.
Is there a vulnerability in that area? (I would like to check mine out if there is)
I am aware springs crack but i would not expect it to be as collapsed as it looked.

I am guessing either rear trailing arm bush has failed or a cracked rear spring is likely to be the issue.
when was it last serviced/mot'd?
