Does anyone have or know of anyone with one of these wind deflectors ?
Aperta - made in Holland by cabriosupply.com - costs £150 inc postage
https://www.cabriosupply.co.uk/wind-def ... 09-onwards
Interested to know as it seems a cheap(ish) - compared to OEM - and flexible way to get a wind deflector and it seems to be good quality from the photos on their site.
Cheers!

Aperta/Cabriosupply Wind Deflector ?
Hi, surely you could get a used genuine deflector for less than that without the heath Robinson straps letting the side down!geordie_zed wrote: ↑Sat Oct 14, 2017 6:07 am Does anyone have or know of anyone with one of these wind deflectors ?

True but most of the ones I've seen on places like fleabay are battered/scratched to pieces

Cheap and tacky substitute, I cannot see the straps holding it stable at speed and they would look awful over your silver hoops. If it moves it will also rub, rattle..

Hi geordie_zed, what did you end up doing with regard to getting a wind deflector? I'm considering getting one myself, but find BMW original rather a hefty price.
DeepSeaBlue Z4 2.3 - E89 (Klaus), 293s, RFTs waiting(wanting) to be replaced, stubby, cream Kansas.

Nope, horrible cheap tack. If its a steel frame then you cannot fold it to store it and those straps will look majorly crap around you roll hoops. I got a spanker off fleabay with a case for £200, bought the brackets and screws from BMW for around £15, which was the most surprising thing about the whole deal to be honest.....
