Potential purchase - does anybody know this car?

Post by Number Six » Tue Sep 05, 2017 12:07 pm

Hi all,

I'm looking at picking up a Z4 and came across this one -

http://usedcars.sytnersheffieldbmw.co.u ... c=se_ce_re_

Do any of you know this car or have any thoughts on it? It'd be my first BMW since an E39 I owned about ten years ago!

Its got a good MOT history, no advisories, seems a decent car.

I found it on their site no problems, but its weird why the link wont work!

Not cheap tho...

You're not being blind, it's a 35i up for £16,500. I realise it's more expensive as it's a dealer car but I want the BMW warranty, especially with the adaptive suspension. All advice welcome and appreciate it.

Go and test drive it mate!
Its definitely expensive, but like you say, peace of mind with the BMW warranty means a lot! It got pretty much every option fitted, so should be pretty luxurious.
Im a month into ownership of my e89 2.5 straight six and I really love the car. Feels like a real occasion whenever I drive it.
Was at Peter Vardy Jaguar in Aberdeen this morning.....looking at a 3.5is DCT.

It was only on their website for 3 days....now sold!

You will need at least 1 shock absorber replaced as it was highlighted at 38k miles on MOT as an advisory "Nearside Rear Shock absorber has a light misting of oil (2.7.3)".

You need to check that they will replace on warranty as I took out a BMW warranty and they refused to pay as the same was highlighted on a previous MOT.

But its had 2 further MOTs since then, so you would assume the issue has been addressed.

Only 5k miles since this was highlighted, I would recommend that receipts are available otherwise assume work not done!
