Unbearable Arch Rub!
Front springs look very low on Jedi's car...
Z4P looks a little higher, and mine higher again..... Considering mine was lowered 35mm,im not sure what yours and the OP's would be..

Here is the offset info...don't know if that is what you consider 'wacky' - 8 inch at et34 on the front.
Lots of people have mentioned arch rub running the spec you've listed above...maybe you were just lucky?

The spring rate on the coilovers maybe much higher than the aftermarket springs..
Looking at your car in the pics, the car is very low.. I have never seen a spring kit take on so low..
I lowered my E85 and 2 x E86's and run 19's with 235's on all of them and never had an issue on any..
Maybe lucky as you say...

Very (very) happy to report that the tyre switch seems to be doing the trick. I've not given it a proper thrashing yet, but the bits local to me where I had to wince every time I went over have been no problems! You can even see the difference in the distance between wheel and arch. Yes, they are a little more stretched than I would like, but I'd take that over diminishing arch liners any day of the week.
BEFORE AFTER Thanks Andy for the recommendation

Glad it appears sorted Dan very often its literally mm's that cause the rub but under compression sounds bad & soon chaffs through the liner which in itself could easily have been more contoured

I have a 3.0 Si Sport and was planning on fitting CSL replicas. Is there a definitive spec of wheels and tyres that will result in no issues (e.g. rubbing). Really keen on upgrading (either from CM Wheels or BM Autosport).
Any advice appreciated?

Hi. If you're going to be running 19's (and getting it lowered), then everybody seems to say:355Chris355 wrote:I have a 3.0 Si Sport and was planning on fitting CSL replicas.
