Were you not a little concerned that someone you don't know now has your address and potentially a copy of your car key?

Ben at BM keys has been doing this a while now I wouldn't have thought there is anything to worry about.rally-chris wrote: ↑Thu Aug 17, 2017 7:38 am Were you not a little concerned that someone you don't know now has your address and potentially a copy of your car key?

You sometimes have to trust people and have faith in people, most people are decent human beings.
Also if it was stolen with a key you would know pretty quickly where to go looking.

2ndly he's been doing it for a long time with no bad feedback
3rdly ironically bmw sales manager from Chiswick only the other day got jailed for giving spare keys to a criminal to steal the cars

So did the £30 include cutting the new blade to suit the old one too?

Are BMKeys still in business ? I've had no reply from two mails.
Does anyone know any other companies who are able to fix keys (broken microswitch) ?
I found one on eBay called the CarKeyKing, but no reviews on this forum.

I’ve used a car key repair company off eBay for £19.99 to refurbish my key. Im told the switches are replaced and a new battery installed. Key returned within 3days and it worked so have to take their word for it. Whilst some have commented about giving your key and address to a stranger, there has to be an element of trust in this otherwise we’d all be using public transport.Bahnstormer wrote: ↑Thu Jun 11, 2020 10:05 am Are BMKeys still in business ? Forums are great for recommendations but we all have to make use of a service first before we can recommend it to others!!
