M.Costa Ipod connector

Post by wopjob » Thu Nov 10, 2011 7:06 pm

Hello All,
I recently bought this IPOD connecotor for my 2003 Z4, (BMW 12-PIN iPOD iPHONE 4 3GS 3G PAD INTERFACE MODULE) it's a M.COSTA unit made in China, by looking at the vendor site it seems as he has sold numerous pieces and I was wondering if any of you have it and how you got it to work. It has a connector that mates with the CD changer spot on the rear of the radio and a pigtail wire that I assume goes to Ground - no instructions came with the unit.
Thanks.

It didn't work. installed a Clarion head unit keeping the stock amp in the trunk. works great.
