Just before I start waving the spanners at my car I'd like to confirm the top mount bolts need torquing down to 34nm on the e89. Can anyone confirm this.
Cheers

Torque settings for Strut Brace?
Do you mean the bolts that hold dont the 2 braces in the engine bay or the nuts that hold the top mount of the suspension strut.
The bolts that hold down the 2 braces in the engine bay are listed at 100Nm +105deg (+/-15deg), so 34Nm would be far to little.
Bolts should be replaced according to TIS.
They are m12 inv. torx bolts, is that correct?
If you're not replacing the bolts I would go easy on the +105deg because the bolts are already stretched.
You could use 120Nm maybe without deg. rotation.
The m8 nuts that hold down the upper shock mount, those need to be torqued down to 34Nm. But these are m8 nuts, NOT bolts.
(TIS also advises to replace these nuts. If not, you can use some blue loctite to ensure locking)
For more details maybe someone who actually has an e89 could chime in?
