Borrow some 18/19" e89 wheels?
I'd like to get my 313s refurbed but don't want to risk the car sitting on axel stands for days on end. Anyone in Manchester area able to lend me a set of wheels for a few days? Won't be used, just to let the old girl sit and wait for her new boots.

You're welcome to borrow my 296's Maniac, I'm near Bakewell but I'll meet you half way say Chapel en le Frith for example, you've given plenty of help on here so happy to do something in return.Maniac wrote:I'd like to get my 313s refurbed but don't want to risk the car sitting on axel stands for days on end. Don't feel obliged, they are there if you want them though.

That's very generous John. As soon as I've arranged the wheels to go in I'll give you a shout and pop over in the Merc. I shouldn't need them long , I just don't feel comfortable having the Z teetering on stands and there's no point shelling out hundreds on a spare set.

One thing to mention if you're not ready for them yet then Maniac, all being well I'm having a heart op next Wednesday, if it isn't postponed for a third time.. , and therefore if you did want to use mine we would have to arrange it before then as I won't be able to lift them for a month after the op, you would have to come over to Chatsworth to load them up, which isn't a problem as far as I'm concerned, just I couldn't meet you half way.
Anyway I'll leave it with you, do whatever's best for you with mine or Andy's.

Thanks for the offers guys, having thought about it a little more, best to probably wait for spring now before I go ahead with this. Getting them refurbed now and then bashing them through winter, salt, et cetera, isn't probably the best idea.
Will be certain to give you another shout closer the time. Good luck with the OP John.
