Id rather keep the system tbh , it reminds you when its coming up & also feels like you at least get something after they have ripped you off may only be a coloured circle of paper but its something

Yes this! And u like the standard BMW holder! However, saves a lot of messing about when you forget and leave it to the last minute.

Why do you need a reminder? It comes in the post anyway ...

To me it looks like the owner is not up to date on the rules and is a worthy target to see what else is wrong, like missing insurance, missing MOT, bald tyres ...

mine will be coming off and a direct debit set up when my tax expires in November. Never have to remember to renew again

I've still got my replacement tax disc sat in the envelope it arrived in. Never put it on and I will be removing the holder tomorrow. It was never fitted the best anyway by the dealer not me I will add.

You guys do realise that by taking it off it doesn't mean you have no tax anymore? You don't need to keep it there til it expires.

How are the snoopers gonna know if someone hasn't taxed their car ? The police will know but the local snoopers are gonna have nothing to do all day now !
