F@@king PayPal. Holding £600 from an EBay sale for 21 days, just before Xmas.

It isn't an inconsequential amount of money for us, and this has really w4nk3r3d things up for us.

Merry chuffing Christmas you bunch of robbing Bar stewards. At least Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask.

Turns out its eBay, not PayPal. The only thing we can think of is that Mrs C had sold some electronics (an old phone, camera & printer) & she'd not sold any electronics before. ?

Frankly I'd rather be dealing with Mr Corleone and his mob right now.

Most. Stressful. Day. Ever. :headbang:

Finally got my PC back where I'm happy with it, after weeks of messing around. I had tried loading windows 7 on to my old xp 35Mb boot partition. That was a night mare it kinda worked but clearly after a week of updates the partition wasn't big enough. :tumbleweed: Why din't it tell me that when I started. :headbang: Eventually removed the 250 Gb sata HD from and old lap top MrsG had binned and after spending a grand total of £1.98 on a power connector and a data connector. I had something I could work with. Next having gone through the enthralling process of installing windows 7 and 291 updates all over again, I'm back in business.

Spent yesterday backing up all my data and then deleted all the partitions form my original drive to leave 1x 500Gb partition, then copied my data back across. Hopeful that will do me for another few years.

Now I'm off in the Zed for the now traditional BuzyG Sunday surf. cos the sun has come out. 8) :driving: :D
