Some pictures - latest mods
Dear all,
since I did a lot of mods recently, I'd like to share them with you. Enjoy
sat nav BMW Navigation Pro (upgraded from Navigation Business), X3 CID with MP3 capabilities and chrome knobs, black facelift vents
that was fun fitting the sat nav
facelift aircondition control, m-steering wheel with chrome trim
sexy facelift rear
old vs. new
Chromline "Perlglanz" door openers
repairing my left door..
old mods: chromline xenon lights without amber signals, black grill
that was my car 1 year ago when I bought it
some add pics of my "get rid of amber indicators" initiative
i bought halogen front lights and change my xenon parts to the new body with white indicators and chrome inlays
I must say that my DYD skills increased tremendously

Great set of mods - well done.
Is it just the camera angle that makes the left side of the bootlid look odd, or did you omit to fit the trim piece?

Re: Some pictures - latest mods
hey all,
thanks for your feedback.
- i just read in german forum that the chrome knobs are available separately, will look for the part no
- i just killed my door when driving out of the garage without closing it - no further comments, please
- the trunk lid may look strange on the picture where i combined old and new rear lights because the old bumper was still installed - no chance to fit the new rear light appropriately. anyway, now everything looks OEM

My error on the bumper fitting. Didn't notice that one picture was an interim stage
Good to know the numbers of the radio buttons - thnaks for posting and I'll pick up some of those
For the heater controls di you change out that unit or retrofit buttons to it as they look like the facelift version for the UK?

Re: Some pictures - latest mods
Thanks nahodo - close up shots help. Guess it's just a case of finding athe facelift unit at a reasonable price and the right one. Looks way better with chrome finishers compared to the older style
