john-e89 wrote:Matt sorry quick thread hi-Jack, do you have the dimensions for a E89 35is? If not a member abroad who has put some x6 I think tips on his and my well still have his old OEM tips and is coming to the watermill meet AFAIK, he could perhaps bring them then you'd have something to work with if there are members wanting tips, I certainly would.

Just a thought and I'd have to ask him first but I'm sure he would bring them.
Hi John.

I have done some for a 35is before but dont have the dimensions. There was some debate about the tips being welded on.
I am at zed fest so yes if you can bring them. And i would like to have a look at your car. I would be happy to make some once dimensions are know.

The tips are tacked on Matt, but they look like they'd easily grind off. I'll have a word with the member and see if he can bring his tips. I'm very much hoping I can go but having a bit of surgery a week or so before so might miss it but there should be a few 35is's going, if I go you're very welcome to poke around it. I'll let you know about the tips.

Cheers Matt.

I guess i should bring a note pad and a set of calipers to the meet. And get busy measuring e89 exhaust pipes.

I have made some for a z3 not sure if it was 2.8? But i could with a few dimensions.
I believe they have an oval exhaust outlet and are basically the same as the 3.0l z4

All gone.

I could be tempted to make more. Ask nicely if you want them :)
