Think I have one of these in the garage, not sure what its worth but dont remember paying much for it. Will have a look in the garage tonight for you.

Sorry just seen this now - I thought I deleted my post as in the end I got so frustrated by the effort to remove I thought I had to save it.
Ended up putting kitchen sealant all round after rubbing down the pealing silver and re-spraying with chrome paint. Seems to be holding, no condensation yet and unless you view from 6 inches away at the internal edges, it looks as good as the other side
I'll look up this thread again if it all goes pear
