Fitted indoor cover with BMW Logo

Post by gedo » Sun Feb 12, 2017 11:50 am

Selling my fitted indoor car cover as my Z4 has now been sold. It's blue with the BMW logo on the bonnet area. Outer surface is a stretchy, shiny material and the inner surface is a soft fleece.

It's a great cover and perfect to protect a car being stored for any length of time. Comes with it's own bag which also has the BMW logo.

Looking for £120 inc P&P

I've had a couple of PMs about the cover. Trading rules state that all negotiations have to be done within the sale thread guys.

Hi Steve,

To avoid any misunderstanding I've taken some images of any marks on the cover. These are basically transfer of tyre treatments on the areas around the wheels (unavoidable) and a mark on the bonnet near the BMW logo. These might wash off, however they never bothered me. There are no tears, holes or defects anywhere on the cover and the internal fleece lining is fine.

I've also snapped the label on the cover which suggests it's a genuine BWM part with a new cost of £260.

Hi Stu, thanks for the offer of £100 for the cover. I have a conditional offer from stevespg at the asking price and I'll wait to hear back from him based on the latest pictures I've uploaded.

As per trading rules, any unconditional offer at the asking price will snap this up.

btw mine looks exactly like this around the tyre area.... its machine washable and comes up like brand new and is REALLY nice quality, these are now discontinued and should be snapped up, they dont come up often. If that dirt puts you off, you was never interested in the first place, it'll look exactly the same on any other car.

Gedo

I can transfer the money tonight if you still want to sell, don't mind a bit of tyre dressing.

morning Beedub - if that comment was aimed at me, you are in no position to make it as we have never spoken. Your opinions are just that, an opinion, in this case based on nil knowledge and therefore of nil value. Perhaps if you had met me before making derogatory comments, you would have appreciated that I can be rather OCD, and that it would indeed bother me if my car cover was not pristine.

OP - good luck with the sale. Apologies for the minor rant, but i do hate opinions being expressed based on nil knowledge.
