New boots for the Zed, Advise please.
Time for another set of rears on the Zed. I'm Replacing a set of Mitch Pilot Sports, and I'll probably just buy some PS3's, but always worth asking here first.
Any one tried these?

I put several sets of Kumho on my Fiat Coupe over the years and always found them to be excellent tyres, but not tried them on the Zed.

Ive just put continental sport contact 5's on the rears. Very pleased with them - excellent in the dry and the wet.

The Kumhos you linked are £10 apiece cheaper on tyreleader but if happy with £100 on the rears look no further https://www.tyreleader.co.uk/car-tyres/ ... -99y-65233
Otherwise its Michelins at £133 apiece ( rears) https://www.tyreleader.co.uk/car-tyres/ ... 95y-289363
In between those prices then Hankooks would be worth consideration & forum fave the Goodyear F1s (although too close with Michelin pricewise so why would you ? )

Good move Bg
there is no better rubber & pricewise they seem to be getting closer to the opposition as opposed to further away ?
Although for me the Vortis are as close to a PSS in performance terms ( & tread pattern ) as you could get for around £100 less spend on the full set

I ddid the BMWCC trackday at Donington yesterday and it rained almost all the time with the track very wet, with standing water at times, and I was very impressed with my Michelin PSSs, particularly under braking. I did around 150 miles on the track. They're great in the dry on track too. Definitely the best road tyre I've experienced.

I am in the phase that I have to change my boots too.
My car has the stock wheels and thinking to go on the Michellin PSS.
Should I choose the standard size or something else?
Thank you.

Everybody I know is raving about the PS4S they have had fitted, so I've ordered some to replace the 6 year old PSS on my car that have gone hard and lost their stickiness. Can't wait to try them out!

Oh that's right. Shouldn't be too much longer until the 18" sizes get released though...

Thanks for the advice. I placed an order for the MPSS for the factory wheel settings. Lets see how they feel.
