I have to say farewell to this great car, the Z4M and move to new pastures.
I have had my beloved roadster for over 3 years and had a PORSCHE itch I needed to scratch. I have traded mine in for the money I paid for her 3 years ago (£11k) despite knowing I could have got more selling privately. I'm now a pleased owner of a Porshe Boxster S 987 3.4. She lacks heated seats and Nav but has Turbo Alloys and a sports exhaust and its a more modern place to be with some of the thrill of my old ///M. Driving the roady back today from the stealer I knew the Boxster would never compete with the blunt, tight drive of my Z and I wonder if ill hanker for that again at some point. Another journey in a new car.
Ill still pop my nose into the forum and would like to say thank you to you all, if you can judge a car by forum then the Z will be a classic.
Some observations when dealing with stealers:
1. Intergarlos blue was deemed a awful colour, I had to point them at the forum poll of the best colours
2. After market mod's will only appeal to forum members when selling, dealers want stock parts

Your new motor looks superb, have to give us an appraisal of the driving experience once you've covered some miles in it

Interlagos Blue had a serious bad reputation when I bought mine new in 2007 and were offered at a £1k discount compared to any other colour. But I would be surprised that those dealers would have such a long memory though.
Not seen a white Boxster before, the exhaust must sound great though

I take it you traded it with the Gruppe M...you could have retrofitted the standard box and made a quick £600 on here no problem!

Good luck with the new toy OP.
As I was a serial car changer most of my life (so many cars, so little time) I can understand your need to scratch that itch - I hope it lives up to your expectations.
Strange to think Interlagos wasn't popular - makes a change from black or silver! 2nd best M colour for me (after Imola).
