For Sale: TV tuner, Cables, Camera, Freeview setup with pics

Post by T2FFN » Sun Apr 05, 2015 11:49 pm

Bit of a feeler really, but considering selling (preferably as a job lot) the below items:

1. OEM Analogue TV tuner £60 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Lear-Unit ... 1650382682
2. OEM wiring harness to attach TV tuner £25
4. Reversing Camera brand new never fitted to be fitted above number plate, between lights for discreet fitment: SOLD http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/IP67-360-Car- ... 27e903af19
5. A 5 Pin relay to trigger camera and switching TV screen over on selecting reverse: £3 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5-PIN-12V-40A ... 5d3350eb86
6. Digital TV Tuner £100 http://www.eonon.co.uk/Others/V0018.html
7. Two Zorro TV aerials (make a massive difference to reception!) £40 pair http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Zorro-F-Type- ... 0937651254

None of those links are being sold by me, they're just used to demonstrate what the items are, and current market values.

As such, if anyone is interested in buying items (1-5) to have a full plug and play reversing camera install, I'd do all of them delivered for £120 (UK)

If they also want the digital TV tuner & aerials, I can supply these (used) for £65 delivered. (UK) (Originally £140 all in :o )

** Note, the AV input is a single input so would need to either use a splitter or a different AV input to allow digital TV tuner and camera at the same time.

Its all currently fitted in the car (apart from reversing camera) so if anyone wants it, I'll remove it on demand so will be a day or two before despatching.

Thanks

I'm very tempted in this - did you fit it all yourself?

I might have a pic from when I bought it, otherwise it's just a cable that fits between Navigation and TV tuner.

Yeah, most labor intensive part was because I chose to route the aerials to the front of the car and mount them around the windscreen behind the plastics. This means seat out, trim out etc to do a neat job. In reality they coul've gone anywhere, behind the bumper like OEM, under parcel shelf etc but I did some testing and found the upper windscreen was best in my area. The rest of it is pretty much plug and play.

if you had a pic that would be great, I am after that lead but obviously you wouldnt' want to split just that lead I'm assuming so would be trying to make a copy for a planned setup... (to get reversing camera setup).
if you would be able to show me the lead so I could get an idea of pin outs tha would be epic.
cheers

When I did my tv install, I made a aerial that fitted into the loop that is the boot rubber seal. Its an enclosed loop, close to the upper surface of the car. It worked perfectly. Worth a thought.
Why is it that people who can't take advice always insist on giving it?

All listed on eBay, but will sell here at the discounted forum price until items have been sold on eBay. I spent ages collecting the parts for the TV / Freeview / Reversing camera, someone could cut out all the hard work. Not sure why I'm selling it all to be honest, on to the next project.

Angel eyes V2 will be posted soon
