Heated seat not working
Tried out the heated driver's seat last week. Great! Nice constant even heat with no sensation of hot spots or over heating. My wife was driving the car today and I was the passenger, switched on the passenger seat for the first time..... it switched itself off immediately. I tried a couple of times but it still switched off. Driver's one works perfectly, so what's the likely cause?

Heated seat not working
I've got this issue with my E85 on the driver side. One possible answer is....
Apparently the heating element is woven into the seat cover and after many times of getting in and out the element breaks. I've been informed that a new seat cover is the fix.
Hope this helps.

The element isn't in the covet, it's in the foam base.
Likely cause is a broken element.
You can buy the elements on their own. Part number 6 attached for m sport seats for example.
