Heard alot of melted engines due to that
But Not heard of s54 using Nos?
I pretty sure someones done the M5 lump into a E85 in the UK. I'm sure I read about it on here or there was a link posted to it a year or so back. Not sure how weight distribution would compared S54 with a supercharger vs F10 M5.D4dawg wrote: ↑Sun May 28, 2017 10:28 pm I hear you dab
But not much you can do with N.A. without spending silly money for little gain
Mack you get my issue:)
As both cars would loose money until plateau
But this way I keep my cars and yes spend money but
Would be a weapon hahaha
An M sleeper if you will
As my brain wanted f10 m5 lump;)
Which supercharger kit do you have?NavZ wrote: ↑Sun May 28, 2017 11:32 pm I'm in a similar position albeit a bit weirder.
I have a Vortech V3sci Supercharger kit sitting in my garage (for over a year)
...
My biggest issue is finding someone who can write some decent software for the Z4M as the M3 has an older ECU so it's not compatible.

I can probably answer my own question, spotted this on page 2 of the above linked thread "Quite bulky but not much heavier than 3.0 six cylinder 217 kIlos against 241 kilos for the v10." At that rate a V10 engined E85 would probably be actually lighter than the Z4M! Interesting but I guess it really is one of those projects you need to do yourself or labour costs would get well out of hand, at least a charger kit you know its roughly x amount of hours to fit if your paying for it.markplant wrote: ↑Mon May 29, 2017 7:41 amviewtopic.php?f=11&t=55073&hilit=V10MACK wrote: ↑Mon May 29, 2017 12:12 amI pretty sure someones done the M5 lump into a E85 in the UK. if you got a really clean car... then it only adds to the coolness!! lol..
Looking at best part of 10k now days once its all fitted and duties paid... probably abit more... Still monster performance puts it into the serious league.... worth very penny, the car feels SO special, sounds so special , and the performance is quite literally nuts.
