Z3 to Z4
Thought i'd say hello. Just joined the forum, some say i've gone to the darkside? After a, what i thought was a cheeky bid ended up with a Z4 to go with my Z3. The selling of the 4 in the spring my first thoughts, but the more i drive the 4 the more it looks like the 3 will be going (Not allowed to keep both). Mechanically very sound just the paintwork with a few niggling chips to sought. Already had the nose painted and a couple of dents removed, engine and interior detailed and brushed aluminium given the carbon fibre treatment. Will be using during the winter with a trip to Derbyshire for my first forum meet.
Car is a June 03 (one of the first) E85 2.5 in Stirling grey with red leather including optional 18" rims badly in need of a refurb.

Welcome to the forum, nice looking Zed and nice colour combo. The 107 wheels looks the dogs, I would say that though

Thankyou. The holders for the Sat Nav. Yes did the wrap myself, dash done twice before Happy but at £4 per roll only cost £8 for the lot. Centre console took some doing lots of clips and bolts but overall worth the effort IMO.

With the Z4 seating so low, don't you find the satnav in that position blocks part of your view out the windscreen? Most of the phones/navs I've seen in the Z4 seem to be mounted in the vents or lower, mainly to allow easy access I suppose, but they're out of the line of sight as well.
Bit like having something hanging from the rear view mirror I guess?
How do you find it in that position?
