One reason why a roadster is better than a coupe

Post by Andrew_Morris » Mon Jun 15, 2009 8:59 am

An impulse buy at the local garden centre led me to discover yet another reason why a roadster is better than a coupe........ :fuelfire:

I'm used to people taking second glances at the car whilst driving down the road but this was hilarious, i'm just glad it didn't cause a RTA.

The hardest part was picking the darn thing up..ooh and cleaning all of the furry bits out of the carpet.

Yes it's also good for taking old christmas trees to the tip! Except you might end up with needles all over the interior, can't imagine how I found that out.

I've carried 10 foot sections of PVC pipe and 8 foot long 2 X 4 as well. As long as it's not raining it's amazing what you can carry... :driving:

I wouldnt on a planned trip... but on impulse.... maybe...

the other weekend we went to pick up a standard lamp which I knew wouldnt go in my car so we took the Saxo.... Turns out it would go in that either - well not with Mrs Gannet as well.... Guess who took the train home

I did the same on Saturday, I had a 2M roll of landscaping material sticking out of mine though! - the week before I had some plastic conduit sticking out

I have had some tall plants in my old convertibles, and collected a very large parcel from parcel farce the other week in the Z, which i had to have the roof down for, but never anything like this.

My other half use to encourage me to take the little convertible shopping as he thinks i will be less impulsive with my purchasing - but as you proved nothing is impossible.

Love it
