E89 N20 2.0i Spark Plug Gap

Post by MikeyFrew » Wed Jun 14, 2023 6:59 pm

I have just picked up 4 No. replacement spark plugs from Berry’s of Croydon. Can anyone tell me the correct gap for NKG R5 M2XE or are the pre-gapped? Also can you confirm the torque setting.

Thanks in advance.

All should be written on the boxes.
They are tricky to find but should be there.
Should be pre-gapped but best to check.
Torque is something like 12nm from memory (but check on the box).

Thanks Pondrew & B21. I have the correct plugs. I guess I can reference them against the originals.

Do you know anyone who fix’s roof issues in Surrey or surrounding areas? I need a sensor changed.

As you may have guessed I am a newbie to Z4’s.

I think RBM in Hook can do roofs, but not sure. They are very well respected on here for servicing/ repairs.
If it is a bootlid microswitch needs changing, then if you can change plugs, you can change those!
There is a huge amount of info regarding roof faults on here.
