Evening fellow Z4 distinguished friends,
First post here, so I’m sorry if this is in the wrong thread. I’ve recently come in possession of a lovely Z4 18i sDrive E89 2014 with the M Sport package (checked with the VIN number) and sadly my rear left spring coil has broken. Upon a few hours of searching around on the forum and the internet I haven’t found a definitive answer as to which ones I should invest in, especially as I have the M sport package included.
Could anyone point me into the right direction and also give their personal preference as to which ones they believe are best? Ideally I’d want to get as close to the original without having to go through BMW themselves (£££££), however obviously will take in all your recommendations
Additionally I came across in some descriptions that some coils are for the “left” side and “right” side, is that true or are they universal for the rear?
Much appreciate your time and help!

Morning, LeDikski.
My rear left barrel spring broke, too. Typically poor German design, although perhaps not manufacture.
As I posted at the time, it's an easy, cheap and quick repair.

Any chance you can direct me to your previous post in regards to that?? And maybe which ones I’d be needing if so?
Actually I am based in the UK, I realise this probably isn’t the thread to discuss buying and selling however

Nothing to post, really. My local BMW independent did it for £70.
