Compression leak/ misfire detection
Not for a BMW but I had never heard of the cylinder leak detector, leak down test test, until I saw this video. He eventually works out that the piston rings are leaking. Fast forward to 7 minutes to avoid the ads https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gy--RjaTx8g
